About Charlie
Racing History
Charlie began racing at the age of 4 years old, winning his first race, and has been going fast ever since! His motivation for getting behind the wheel is to further his racing skills and to spread knowledge about Type 1 diabetes so that hopefully we can find a cure one day.
Where to Find Charlie
Charlie has been on the road and visited many speedways. Some places he has visited in 2023 include Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Ca, K1 Speedway in San Diego, and Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, Ca.
Hoping we can find a cure one day
Type 1 diabetes, formerly known as juvenile diabetes, is an auto immune disease that originates when cells that make insulin are destroyed by the immune system. Insulin is a hormone required for the cells to use blood sugar for energy and it helps regulate glucose levels in the bloodstream. Before treatment this results in elevated blood sugar levels in the body.
Charlie and his family hope that we find a cure one day and being diagnosed with early onset Type 1 diabetes is a major motivation for Charlie to get out there and go fast!

Charlie's Goal is to make it to NASCAR Cup Series and/or formula 1 with RedBull Racing
